    Featured Work: Northeast Minneapolis

    Featured Work: Northeast Minneapolis

From Blaine to Bloomington, South Minneapolis to St Paul – we love working in the communities and neighborhoods we serve! We are starting a feature where we share some specific, unique areas we work in and some of the projects we’ve been lucky to work on in those areas.

At Field, we have always had a special place in our heart for Northeast Minneapolis because our shop has almost always been located in Northeast.  Through the early Field years and to date, many of our employees call Northeast home.  In 2019 we put down our “roots” and purchased a property in Northeast Minneapolis, solidifying the neighborhood as our “Forever Business Home”.

Northeast Minneapolis is noteworthy for its industrial history, incredible arts, great restaurants, and the many cultures that call it home. One of its obvious attributes is the hills and we have worked on many projects in Northeast where we have been able to make the slopes our canvas and filled them with our palette of robust perennial plants, rock work and cor-ten features.

The architecture ranges from historic to the many modern homes, and even infill architecture.

Northeasters love the good life and balancing work, and play is a high priority. Many residents find cool ways to live outside and enjoy family, friends and health.

Over the years, in addition to working in residential settings, we have even been able to help on projects at restaurants, churches, dentist offices and breweries – two noteworthy examples are the incredible landscapes outside Bauhaus Brewing and Sociable Ciderwerks.

We look forward to many more years of living, working, and playing in Northeast Minneapolis.
