After working for ten years at American Linen Supply I had grown into a full-time accounts receivable position that I didn’t enjoy. I needed a new path. I reflected on the joy I had participating in community theater throughout the decade of the 90’s. I decided to go to the U of M to study the backstage technical aspects of theater production. My schooling was interrupted by a traumatic event that happened to a parent. While going to grief counseling I mentioned to my therapist that I wanted a job that was project based so that the job wouldn’t get stale. She suggested I investigate the landscape company that handled her yard maintenance. Thus started my 21+ year career in the landscaping industry.
